Need: To clean up, dredge, and transport contaminated soils from the coastal shoreline.
Solution: Vision Building Systems was contracted to construct an engineered on-site containment facility for the storage and transfer of the contaminated soils.
Features:
The Engineered Structure met 100 mph wind loads and 25lb snow load per local building codes.
5' high portable, concrete containment wall.
Ventilation fans to exhume the heavy equipment exhaust.
16' x 16' steel overhead doors with electronic operators.
Completed in 60 days from contract signature.
Leased to the Port of Anacortes over the duration of the estimated 2 year project.
